I am 27 years old. I am an independent, only child with amazing parents who are my biggest fans. I am 100% drug-free, tobacco-free & follow a vegan diet. To some, this is considered to be Straight Edge. I am an ESTJ, a Seven & an Aquarius. I am also a Wood Rat. I received my BS in Communications from Lamar University – Beaumont in 2006 & am a successful Human Resources executive at Target in Houston, Texas. My job has steered me to meet the best & most influential people that I know & I’m very thankful for that because in the end, they are my best friends.
Blogging In The Blood
I started my first blog back in September ’98 using good ol’ LiveJournal. I taught myself XHTML from scratch & here we are today. My first site was Berlybug.com but I began getting tired with LiveJournal so I moved over to the blog-based WordPress.com. Shortly after, I acquired Kmbrly.com & upgraded to WordPress.org. I recently became the proud owner of AdventuresBeingVegan.com so it’s getting pretty exciting :)

I do have a degree but I am in no way a dietitian or nutritionist. I do a lot of research before deciding to do the things that I do or eat the things that I eat. I don’t encourage anyone to follow in my footsteps without doing their own due diligence. Know what you’re doing before you jump in feet first. I can, however, offer my advice from past learnings regarding whats worked & whats fell short in my opinion. In that case…e-mail me! I’m always happy to hear other’s stories.
